  • Sweeney Architects was set up in 2006 by Nicholas Sweeney and Ursula Hegarty with the objective of setting up a client focused architectural practice. Nicholas' experience extends from healthcare and residential, retail and brand development to large mixed use schemes, hotel and leisure planning, design and fitout, masterplanning, design and detailing to pharmaceutical and industrial developments. An architect by degree Nicholas is also a qualified project manager, physical planner and a Grade III Conservation Architect. Ursula comes from a marketing background. Ursula’s management experience brings the practical elements of administration, budgets and timelines to the practice. She specialises in bringing projects in on time and budget and focuses on the client side of the business, remembering that the objectives and input from the client are crucial to the success of the project.
