The Niall McCullough Lecture Series is presented by Valerie Mulvin, McCullough Mulvin Architects and Friends of Niall McCullough.

We are delighted to announce that the inaugural lecture in the Niall McCullough Series will be given by Spanish Architect and Honorary Fellow of the RIAI Rafael Moneo on Thursday, 25 April at 7pm in the Edmund Burke Theatre, Trinity College Dublin.

An annual lecture series is planned to mark the legacy and spirit of architect Niall McCullough (1958-2021). Speakers who share common ground with Niall’s many interests – from modern architecture, ancient sites and buildings, radical interventions into older buildings, books, photography, film, music, nature – will share a range of insights to be developed over the life of the lecture series.

The work of Rafael Moneo’s studio has had a profound influence on the work of McCullough Mulvin, and indeed on the work of a whole generation of Irish architects. Rafael Moneo will deliver a lecture titled "To build in one's city, building in Madrid".
