McCullough Mulvin Architects Announce Appointment of Ronan O’Connor as Associate

McCullough Mulvin Architects are delighted to announce the appointment of Ronan O’Connor as an Associate within the practice. Ronan has worked with McCullough Mulvin since graduating from UCD and has participated in teams responsible for several award-winning projects including Rush Library, RIAI Best Conservation Project 2010 and shortlisted for The Europa Nostra European Prize for Cultural Heritage 2011. Ronan worked on the Mardyke Pavilion and is currently working on the new Ringaskiddy Maritime Research Building at UCC.

McCullough Mulvin Architects is a design-based practice based in Dublin. They have worked on cultural and civic buildings, libraries, schools and in healthcare throughout Ireland, working to define a new public realm in a changing society, designing projects from the ground or making radical and innovative contemporary interventions into existing contexts. Previous projects include the Ussher Library and The Long Room Hub in Trinity College, Waterford City Library, Bessboro Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit in Cork. Recent work such as the Dublin Dental Hospital in Nassau Street challenges perceived ideas about how the city should develop and grow. The work of McCullough Mulvin Architects is extended by publication, teaching and research in Ireland, the USA and Europe.
