Bottleworks, Barrow Street
Architect:
Henry J Lyons
Award Type:
Irish Architecture Awards
Location:
Dublin
Located on the deep and narrow site of an old bottle works factory on Barrow Street, this project seamlessly weaves the provision of light, ventilation, services and access strategy to the new enterprise centre, with volumes that respect surrounding residences. The building envelope filters and bounces light within the interior whilst providing privacy to neighbouring properties, including the adjoining terrace of single storey cottages.
