CLIENT: Board of Management, Presentation College

The demands and restrictions of a large school are turned to account in this fine design.  The formal potential of key elements of School are distilled into a rational but poetic language   articulating the civic significance of School as unified community institution. The language is well-judged and commensurate accommodating bright, well-proportioned and sequenced educational spaces in its strong massing, consistent opes and considered use of materials.  The overall effect is memorable and understandable with the School controlling and somehow explaining itself and its site.
