The Annual Report was launched by Michael Ring, TD, Minister of State for Regional Economic Development at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs at the National Library of Ireland, Dublin 2 on Tuesday 13 December 2016 at 5.00pm.

He said that the evidence was clearly visible in towns that employed architects – like Westport and Clonakilty, which are renowned for their quality urban environments.
Martin Colreavy, Principal Advisor, Built Heritage, Architectural Policy & Strategic Infrastructure, added: “We look forward to seeing the outcome of further and ongoing initiatives and actions under the GPA and continuous engagement by all interested parties in the development of national policy on architecture in Ireland.”
