RIAI attends Joint Oireachtas Committee on Infrastructure and National Development Plan Delivery

RIAI CEO Kathryn Meghen and David Browne FRIAI attended the Joint Committee on Infrastructure and National Development Plan Delivery on 19 November. They presented an opening statement highlighting the role, value and importance of architecture in the delivery of high-quality national infrastructure. Their statement also identified barriers to delivery and presented solutions, focusing on four areas: (1) Delivering on our Housing Needs; (2) Long Term Vision (3) Urban Design - An Essential Component of Planning and (4) Fixing the Public Procurement System.
