Professor Emeritus Cathal O’Neill, who served as Head and Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture at UCD from 1973 to 1996, passed away in Dublin on 11 July 2022. His vast contribution as an educator of generations of Irish architects, Head of School, and as a practitioner is remembered here by Professor Hugh Campbell, Head of the School of Architecture at UCD, and by Dr. Ellen Rowley, Assistant Professor, UCD.
