2026 Friendly and Inclusive Spaces Awards

The International Union of Architects (UIA) has launched the 5th edition of the Friendly and Inclusive Spaces Awards, organised by its Architecture for All Work Programme. Established to promote inspiring buildings and spaces, the Awards celebrate projects that create socially sustainable environments through high-quality architectural design.

In addition to the main awards, a Research Award will be presented for evidence-based design research that makes a significant contribution to improving quality of life by enhancing understanding of human-centred design and its application in the built environment. Deadline for submissions: 24 February 2026.
