Dermot Bannon’s Incredible Homes

In this new series of “Dermot Bannon’s Incredible Homes”, Dermot once again packs his bags and visits some of the most amazing houses around the world.

In the second episode of Incredible Homes, going out on the 25 October at 9.30pm on RTE1, Dermot steps outside his front door, and doesn’t venture too far.  Because this year, Dermot is thrilled to be making an Irish episode of Incredible Homes.

Dermot travels to West Cork to visit one of the country’s most spectacular houses in Goleen, by world famous Irish architect Níall McLaughlin.

From West Cork to the most northern coastline of Donegal, Dermot makes his way to Tuath na Mara, an idyllic holiday home, designed by Letterkenny based architects MacGabhann Architects.

Dermot winds his way down to Co. Cavan, to a farm house with a difference, designed by one of the most exciting architects today, Tom O’Brien.

He also visits Meadow Dance in Limerick, a colourful, joyous creation from architect John Curran. And who wouldn’t like to see where Matt Damon spent his lockdown days, as Dermot explores Ischia in Dalkey, by architects Smith and Kennedy.

Making his way around Ireland, Dermot cannot contain his pride or his excitement, as he showcases the works of his peers and his heroes, in Dermot Bannon's Incredible Homes Ireland.

Dermot Bannon’s Incredible Homes airs on Sunday, 25 October at 9.30 pm on RTÉ One and on RTÉ Player.
