As part of the RIAI Simon Open Door 2025 campaign, we invite you to join us for an informative session designed to help you better support your clients by maximising available domestic energy and heritage building grants.
Speakers include Siobhán Ward MRIAI from SEAI on home energy grants and One-Stop Shops; Michael O’Boyle FRIAI, Grade 1 RIAI Conservation Architect, on grants specific to heritage buildings and protected structures; Dermot Bannon MRIAI, and the Simon Community representative, Ber Grogan, will provide key background information on this year’s campaign.

What will be covered?
Siobhán Ward from SEAI, will provide up-to-date information and covering a range of domestic energy upgrade grants available from the SEAI under the following topics:
- National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme,
- Better Energy Homes and Solar PV
- Warmer Homes Scheme
- Traditional Homes Pilot
- One-Stop Shops
Michael O’Boyle FRIAI, Grade 1 RIAI Conservation Architect, will provide guidance on grants specific to heritage buildings and protected structures on:
- Built Heritage Investment Scheme Grants
- Historic Structures Fund Grants
- Other specialised grants for Historic Buildings and Protected Structures
Additional grant options to be discussed include:
- Conservation Advice Grant Scheme for Vacant Traditional Houses
- Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant (Croí Cónaithe)
