Our latest half-day seminar is led by Dr Moses Jenkins of Historic Environment Scotland (HES) who will explore practical solutions for improving energy efficiency in traditional and historic buildings. This growing area of energy performance is vital in the context of global climate change and the pressing need to undertake widespread thermal upgrading of our historic building stock, which has been the focus of extensive research by by HES over the past 15 years.
HES has been an international leader in developing best practice solutions for thermal upgrading of historic buildings and has informed policy guidance in many countries across Europe, including in Ireland. Dr Moses Jenkins has led much of this work and is respected internationally for the breadth of his expertise and clear communication of the subject. This half-day seminar, offering 4 CPD points, provides a rare opportunity in Ireland to engage with his expert knowledge.
