- Team Coordination: Managing and coordinating a team of over 50 specialist craftsmen with diverse skills.
- Restoration Techniques:
- Removing old paint from stucco work.
- Replacing damaged or brittle moulding.
- Restoring architectural elements such as keystones, corbels, windows, and chimneys.
- Repointing brickwork for structural integrity.

With 40 years of experience working on both old and new buildings, Dermot Collier is eager to share his knowledge and the collective experiences of the teams he has collaborated with on various intriguing projects. His goal is to highlight these remarkable places and narrate the story of the meticulous work involved in preserving these structures for future generations.
Dermot believes that no building or structure is the result of a single person's efforts. It is the collaborative effort between architects, engineers, contractors, and conservation experts to the successful preservation and revitalization of buildings.
