Event Information
This year the RIAI Conference will be held online on Tuesday 24 November, from 9am to 4pm.
Our RIAI Conference 2020 will debate the changes and challenges affecting Irish society now and into the future across four main themes: the Future of Cities; Climate Change; Housing Innovation; and Architecture and Diversity. Under these four themes, we will discuss examples and ideas for the creation of sustainable communities in our cities and towns; present innovative models for housing; explore architectural responses to climate change; and debate the need to design for diversity in our society and how the profession itself needs to support all aspects of diversity and inclusion.
The conference features an exciting line-up of speakers including the German Architect Anna Heringer, the Danish Architect and Urbanist Jan Gehl, Professor Ricky Burdett CBE, from the LSE Cities unit, and Annalie Riches and David Mikhail from Stirling Prize Winners, Mikhail Riches.
