RIAI approved CPD presentation provides a greater understanding of SuDS [Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems] and the Design and Installation of permeable paving.
Topics covered are:
- Sustainable Water Management
- We will discuss why SuDS has become so vital when it comes to managing water runoff, while reducing the significant impact on sewer and drainage systems
- We will discuss Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, and the problems it will solve
- We will look at Permeable Paving as a Sustainable Urban Drainage System option
- We will discuss in depth the installation, design and for a SuDS system and where this knowledge can be sourced.
- We will discuss rainwater harvesting as an option for fully tanked systems
- We will discuss the maintenance of permeable paving, the does and don’ts and the maintenance documents available to review
- We will then look at Grangegorman Campus DIT as an example project in which permeable paving was used
