View some of George O'Malley's projects here.
Taking part in the series will provide Architects, as specifiers for heritage projects with an insight into how the works they specify are carried out by craftsmen in heritage projects. Each talk will include the craftsman’s personal perspective on the conservation and restoration works in which they specialise.
On completion of these CPDs attendees should understand how specified works are carried out by the various craftsmen involved. Crafts covered during the series will include ironwork and metalwork, joinery, decorative plasterwork, façade cleaning, masonry rebuild & repair (stone & brick), lime render and structural repairs.
