Irish Built Environment Declares - December Meeting

Join the online meeting of Irish Architects Declare focusing on the new Climate Action Plan, RIAI 2030 Climate Challenge and the Architects Declare Practice guide on 7 December, 5.30pm-6.30pm.  The aim of this event is to get an understanding of the role of architects in addressing climate breakdown and biodiversity loss. 

On completion of this online event attendees should have a knowledge of the role of the built environment in the new Climate Action Plan, the targets outlined in the RIAI 2030 Climate Challenge and tools and resources to achieve the targets. The Irish Built Environment Declares will be chaired by Catriona Duggan and Karolina Backman.

Speakers 

Ciaran Cuffe is an architect and urban planner, now an Irish politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament since July 2019.

Karolina Backman is a research lead and architect with RKD Architects, part of the steering group for Irish Architects Declare and have contributed to the AD Practice Guide. 

Catriona Duggan is a partner and architect with Gottstein Architects, part of the steering group for Irish Architects Declare and have contributed to the AD Practice Guide.
