RIAI Public Choice Award 2026
Welcome to the search for Ireland’s favourite building or public space in 2026.
The RIAI works for a built environment that benefits all in society. The RIAI Public Choice Award is a unique opportunity for the public to choose their favourite building or place of the year.
This year, 44 projects from the RIAI Architecture Awards Shortlist are in the running for the Public Choice Award (listed alphabetically below). Five research projects are also shortlisted for the RIAI Awards, but these don't feature in the Public Choice.
Now in their 37th year, the RIAI Architecture Awards celebrate excellence in the design and delivery of buildings by Registered Architects.
The RIAI Awards 2026 are kindly supported by our Gold Sponsors, VELUX and Sika Ireland.
The Universal Design Category is in association with the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design.
