Job Description:

Due to some exciting new developments at Keenan Lynch Architects we are looking for a creative, confident and organised Architectural Graduate with a passion for excellence.

We are expanding due to an increased level and variety of projects and the successful candidate will produce drawing work at all project stages from initial project design through to detailed construction drawings. You will be confident enough to work as a job runner on projects and have the organisational skills required to ensure that budgets and deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will be committed to the “art” of Design and Architecture and he/she must bring forth a strong arsenal of techniques and skills in Building Design. You will be a strong communicator and must be capable of working under your own initiative. Experience counts, but most of all you have got to have drive, responsibility and pride in what you do. You will only accept the best performance from yourself.

About Keenan Lynch Architects At Keenan Lynch Architects we have a history spanning over three decades, where we have worked on a wide range of projects, in both Ireland and the UK including; Commercial, Workplace, Education, Industrial, Retail and Residential projects. We culture a wide range of experience, not only in building typology, but also skill training across all aspects and phases of building design and completion and providing the basis for Professional Practice experience and Case Study.

Job Requirements:

  • Preparing and presenting design proposals to clients
  • Advising clients
  • Producing detailed drawings
  • Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
  • Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
  • Co-ordinating the work of contractors
  • Making site visits to check on progress
  • Dealing with problems that might come up during building.

Education, Certifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong detailing and construction knowledge, with an enthusiasm for design excellence
  • A good team worker, confident dealing with design and contractor teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Complete familiarity with Irish Building Regulations
  • High Proficiency in Revit.
  • Personally motivated
