The RIAI at Architecture Kerry 2018

Published: Friday, September 14, 2018

Dates: 28 - 30 September

Architecture Kerry is the inaugural celebration of Kerry's architectural heritage. This weekend festival features talks, guided tours, workshops and exhibitions to showcase the extraordinary built environment on offer in Kerry and is open to people of all ages.

The vision behind Architecture Kerry is to show why good architecture, design and vibrant public spaces are vital to our quality of life. Experience exciting opportunities to visit some hidden gems throughout the County with tours led by architects and owners. Some buildings are open for one weekend only. Children can enjoy events at local libraries to explore architecture and buildings. Kerry County Museum is also hosting an exhibition to celebrate the festival. Events are free, but spaces are limited so we urge people to book their places with tour organisers.
Architecture Kerry is supported by Kerry County Council and the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in partnership with the OPW, RIAI, IAF, and the Heritage Council. Architecture Kerry forms part of the Creative Ireland Kerry Programme.
