Success for Irish Architects in Civic Trust Awards

Carr Cotter Naessens, heneghen peng and Darmody Architects were all successful in the UK’s Civic Trust Awards.

The DLR LexIcon won two awards – the Civic Trust’s National Panel Special Award and the Selwyn Goldsmith Universal Design Award. The University of Greenwich’s Stockwell Street Library and Academic Building by heneghen peng also won an award, while Darmody Architects won a commendation for their Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.

The annoucement for the 2016 Civic Trust Awards, Pro Tem Awards and AABC Conservervation Awards winners was made following the 57th annual Awards Ceremony, which took place on Friday 4th March 2016 at The Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London.
