RIAI President attends All-Ireland Thesis Symposium at WIT

The All-Ireland Thesis Symposium, an annual student review of the architectural thesis experience took place in the Department of Architecture, Granary Building, Waterford Institute of Technology on Thursday 26 January 2017. The symposium saw participants from all seven Schools of Architecture in Ireland present and debate their work. This was  followed by a "Decade of Scholarship to Renzo Piano: Workshop and Conversation" led by Maire Henry. The symposium concluded with an announcement by Carole Pollard, RIAI President, and Sandra Campbell, RIAI Education Manager, of the launch of RIAI Student membership and RIAI initiatives to promote engagement between education and practice.

The Thesis Symposium, organised by the Architectural Students Society and the Department of Architecture at WIT, preceded the sixth All-Ireland Architecture Research Group (AIARG) Conference on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 January at WIT.
