China for Anello Architects+

A3A is a collaboration between Dublin-based practice Anello Architects and Fabia Adelfio, Enrico and Vincenzo Anello in Sicily. The Chinese magazine Architectural Worlds (AW) is featuring a ‘Selected Works of A3A’ in its current issue No 148.  Featured projects range from master planning and residential projects in Ireland to competition entries for a government building in Hannover (Germany), a museum in Oslo (Norway) and the Floriopoli Theme Park in Termini Imerese, Palermo (Italy). Conservation work includes the restoration of the Palazzo Castrone di Santa Ninfa in Palermo.

World Architecture Review was founded in 1985 and is China’s first professional and bilingual journal of architecture distributed at home and abroad. Directed jointly by Shenzhen University and Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., LTD. of Southeast University, AW takes the academic orientation as its development strategy, solicits contributions directly from the domestic and international famous designers and design firms, to explore architectural frontier subjects with the first-hand technological information, reflect the current academic tendencies and promote the world's newest design work, design trend and design philosophy. At the same time, AW pays close attention to a broader public life relevant to architecture in order to emphasise its humanities and social orientation, the rich connotation of social space that buildings convey.

Copies of AW 184 are available from the RIAI Bookshop.
