Event Information

Keith Williams, the much awarded architect, will give a talk on his ideas, motivations and latest projects.

His London-based firm was Building Design Public Building Architect of the Year in both 2006 and 2008, and has won over 20 major design and construction awards.

Williams’ projects include Wexford Opera House (with the OPW), Clones Library, and Athlone Civic Centre; and the Unicorn Theatre and the Long House, both in London.

He is currently designing the new District Museum in Chichester, the new Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury and remodelling the major 1960s Fairfield Concert Halls in Croydon.

The talk will be introduced by Dr Sandra O’Connell, editor of Architecture Ireland.

The talk coincides with the Dublin launch of the first monograph on his firm’s work, Keith Williams: Architecture of the Specific published by Australian publisher Images Publishing Ltd.
