Event Information

Artists have contributed work to a very exciting and interesting Art Show in support of Children First to assist with raising urgently needed funds for vulnerable, disadvantaged children in Ireland.

This is a great opportunity to acquire a valuable piece of art at a very favourable cost, while helping disadvantaged families.  Acclaimed artists such as *Sean Fingleton, Liam Belton, Pauline Bewick, John Behan, Sandra Bell, Eamonn Coleman, Michael Gemmell, Richard Gorman, Leo Higgins, Anita Shelbourne, Brian Maguire, Martyn Turner, Claudio Viscardi, Tom Climent, Bernadette Madden and Sonja Landveer* to name but a few have all contributed works of art to the show.

Tickets are on sale now for €350.00, which will entitle the holder to one piece of framed art or sculpture per ticket, many of which will be valued at considerably more than the amount paid.  A draw will be conducted and as each ticket is drawn from the drum the owner of the ticket may choose from the art available at that time. It would be advisable for participants to view and make a list of their preferences in advance of the draw on Sunday, 19 September 2010.  The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Gerry Breen, will launch the draw and auction.

Refreshments will be served and after the formalities there will be a free raffle of some pieces of selected art for everyone who attends the launch.

Exhibition takes place on Thursday 16th September (5pm - 7pm) and Friday 17th & Saturday 18th (11am - 5pm).

The draw and auction will take place on Sunday September 19th at 2pm sharp.
