A fine piece of work establishing an exemplar riverfront type for the North Wall Quay. Cleverly, it employs architectural devices of layering and depth to solve the adverse workplace aspects of direct sunlight while exploiting its magic to capture deep shadows enhancing the lively yet controlled river elevation. Internally, light flows centrally and from the edges. At street level a gallery, café and planted court speak of generosity and acknowledge the city.
