Brickworks Community Centre is an accessible and inclusive urban development and focal point of a large housing estate and wider neighbourhood in north London. Every aspect of the building, from the layout to the signage, has been fine-tuned to maximise use and enjoyment for all. The Social Housing has been designed to universal design standards and beyond Lifetime Housing standards and includes two flats that are fully adaptable for a wheelchair-user resident This project clearly demonstrates the benefits of consultation and engagement with the local community.
