Programme Objectives:
The BIM Architecture: Tertiary Building Elements module is an advanced module and will develop the learner’s ability for creating tertiary building elements developing technical designs to integrate with primary and secondary building elements in a digital building model.

Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of the BIM Architecture: Tertiary Building Elements module the student will be able to:
• Locate and select detail design components to construct tertiary details for building elements in a digital building model.
• Create and edit tertiary building element representation for use in the technical detail design
• Identify the hierarchy and create or import 2D construction details to co-ordinated with the primary and secondary building elements in a digital building model
• Convey graphic description and measurement of technical design details
• Transfer graphic description and measurement of secondary building elements
• Co-ordinate other digital building information models from the design team
• Arrange building data on to digital plotting sheets
