Job Description

Jack Coughlan Architects, a well-established multi-disciplinary architectural practice with offices in Cork City and Dunboyne, Co. Meath, is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join either our Cork or Dunboyne office.  

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track record in leading projects and coordinating design teams from concept through to completion. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage architectural projects across all work stages 
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and consultants 
  • Resolve complex design and technical issues with confidence and efficiency 
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications 
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and statutory requirements 
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities to support smooth project delivery

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience in an architectural practice, with a robust portfolio of successfully delivered projects
  • Proven experience in project leadership and team coordination 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit 
  • In-depth understanding of Irish building regulations and construction standards 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
