Celebrating the Power of Architecture to Transform Lives

20 - 21 October

Architecture at the Edge (AATE) is a weekend celebration of exceptional architecture in the West of Ireland. Featuring a series of talks, tours, workshops and exhibitions, the festival invites people of all ages to explore the built environment of their city and county. Showcasing some of the West of Ireland's most outstanding architectural features, this weekend-long festival offers an exciting opportunity to explore some of the hidden architectural gems of Galway and Mayo. Join a team of expert guides as they take you on a tour of homes, buildings and spaces that are typically off limits. Architecture at the Edge will encourage a lively debate on standards of urban design, planning and sustainability through public engagement in a variety of events.
