Sam Stephenson Programme Wins Radio Award

Produced by RTE Radio One’s ‘Arts Tonight’ programme, and presented by Vincent Woods, a reassessment of the work of architect Sam Stephenson has won a prestigious radio award this autumn. The programme featured a studio discussion with architects Shane O'Toole, Sean O Laoire, Tony Reddy and Dr Sandra O’Connell, Curator of Open House. Also interviewed were Nathalie Weadick, Director of the Irish Architecture Foundation, and Noel Comer, owner of the converted mews house at 31 Leeson Close (now a guesthouse) Stephenson designed for himself at the age of 25 in 1958.
