The RIAI’s 2009 Conference in Limerick will focus on what Architects and Architecture can contribute to Shaping Ireland’s future.
The conference will explore three central themes creating a better built environment – Living, Learning and Health.
A wide range of international and national speakers will look at best practice and through panel discussions and presentations discuss how these themes will help to shape Ireland ’s future.
The Monday conference will provide an opportunity for architects - public and private sector, employer and employee to gather and discuss what is now needed to improve our circumstances and what changes we as a profession must call for, from ourselves and from our Government to ensure that Ireland gets the quality of architecture it deserves.
The Tuesday workshop is designed for practitioners to hear how some members have taken innovative approaches to dealing with the recession; and to get tips from business advisors on public relations, internationalisation and new business opportunities.
