Register your Vote
With the 25th February now set as polling day for Election 2011, it only takes a few short steps to make sure you have your say in the formation of the next Government by ensuring that you’re registered to vote.
- Checking if you’re registered is quick and simple and can be done in any public office or alternatively by clicking onto www.checktheregister.ie and following the instructions.
- If you’re not registered at your present address, download the RFA3, get it signed by your local Garda Siochana and return it to the Franchise Section of your county/city council.
- If you’re not registered at all, download the RFA2, get it signed by your local Garda Siochana and return it to the Franchise Section of your county/city council.
Deadline: 8 February
Completed hardcopy of forms must be returned to the Franchise Section of the relevant county/city council by the 8 February, 2010.
So that’s it. A few easy steps and your ready to play your part.
