Meeting the Public and Promoting Architecture

The RIAI held an Extension Advice Centre at last weekend's Ideal Home Show at the ARC Event Centre in Cork.
Nearly 140 free consultations were held over the three days providing members of the public an opportunity to meet with an Architect for a short 30-minute consultation.
Over thirty architects gave their time for free and the RIAI is looking forward to organising a similar stand at the Ideal Home Show in Dublin over the Bank Holiday Weekend (22-25 October).
This event is part of the RIAI’s outreach initiative to engage with the public, breakdown perceived barriers and explain the scope of work that an architect can do.
