GALWAY HOSTS RIAI AWARDS EXHIBITION

The Atrium, Galway County Council, Prospect Hill is the 2011 March venue to host the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, (RIAI) annual Architectural Awards 2010 Exhibition. The exhibition will contain highlights of the winners and highly commended entries from the 2010 RIAI Irish Architecture Awards.
The RIAI Premier Awards Exhibition is a major component of the RIAI efforts to illustrate and inform members of the public of the impact of good architecture on their lives, and over the past twenty one years there have been 352 such exhibitions all over Ireland; attracting members of the public and press both nationally and internationally with interest in every location. There were over 173 entries this year spread over 14 different categories, including housing, conservation, sustainability, accessibility, retail, leisure, public choice and culture.
The Exhibition will be on view in the Atrium from Monday 14 March until 24 March 2011 Opening hours 9 am - 5pm
