Bringing Retrofit to Market Conference, 23 September

Taking place at the Croke Park Conference Centre on Friday, 23 September 2011, this year’s Bringing Retrofit to Market Conference is being organised with the support of SEAI and is sponsored by AIB, ESB and Saint-Gobain.
Building on last year’s inaugural retrofit conference, which was attended by over 500 delegates, this year's event follows the recent launch of the government’s Better Energy programme. Better Energy begins the transition from a grant-based to a more market-driven approach to promoting deeper and wider retrofit activity in Ireland. The key focus this year will therefore be on models for financing retrofits. Additional key themes will include approaches to retrofitting different buildings, how to sell energy efficiency to consumers, which markets and demographics to target, and the new products, services and business models that are likely to succeed in the evolving regulatory environment. A host of national and international experts have now confirmed their participation.
