Leon Fleisher's musicianship is the stuff of legend - his personal story both heartbreaking and life affirming.
Hailed 'pianistic find of the century' he conquered the music world in the 1950s with a series of spectacular performances and recordings.
Then at the height of his powers he was cruelly sidelined by a rare brain disease that lost him the use of his right hand.
Undeterred, he battled the odds and baffled medical experts with a triumphant return to the concert platform.
Leon Fleisher comes to Ireland to perform an all-Mozart programme with Katherine Jacobson Fleisher and the ICO.
Mozart - Symphony No. 1, K.16; Concerto for two Pianos K. 242; Adagio & Fugue; Symphony No. 41, K. 551 (Jupiter)
