Programme Objectives:
The goal of this course is to enable students to learn a wide range of advanced topics in Revit Architecture 2011,
building on the concepts introduced in the Revit Architecture 2011 Essentials course. Students learn about site
design, advanced rendering techniques, phasing and design options, creating families of custom components, and
collaborating on a design. This course is delivered in a classroom environment, using hands-on exercises, to give
participants experience in using and understanding the features and functionality of the product and the changes
in the new version of the product
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, participants will possess an advanced knowledge of Revit Architecture
software and will be proficient in its use in Architectural design and construction projects.
Building Information Modelling technology is starting to replace traditional CAD technology in Architectural
projects, particularly in the international design arena. Knowledge of the technology is rapidly becoming a prerequisite for Practices to be considered for
these projects and for individuals to be considered for jobs relating to them.
